- We (Marc and LeAnne) met on a blind date, August 2000, in Charlotte and were engaged two years later. We moved to Charleston, SC, where we married and lived for 3 years. The two of us had talked about adoption early in our relationship and found it was something we were both interested in. After moving back to Charlotte in October 2005, we looked into the process. We decided to adopt internationally from Kazakhstan It's been a long and sometimes frustrating experience, but well worth it to find our son Rhys.

LOVE seeing the video! It makes her so real to us waiting to meet her! She's just so cute.
Rhys loved the video! He knew that his Daddy was talking, but couldn't see him. He is very concerned that his baby sister eat her vegetables...he has to eat his, and fair is fair, you know.

Thanks for sharing the sweet video! Looks like carrots aren't her thing yet, but I bet she gets a taste for them soon.
