Another new step in the process

Today we had to take the babies back to the same building we went this morning for the birth certificates. We thought this was going to be a fairly quick process. Oh how we were wrong. Mischa and Inna picked us all up at 5 till 2. The babies were bundled up in their snow suits with hats and Elloree even had a scarf on. The first issue with this is it is not really that cold here yet, we were all very hot. We pulled up to the building and discovered the door was locked so we had to walk around. We walked into this room full of people going in and out. Inna told us to take a seat. We did, just next to a Babushka (older lady/grandmother) that was giving us the evil judgemental eye the whole 5 min we sat there. Inna then motioned us to an adjioning room. This was a room full of teller windows. There were also about 4 leather couches lined up against the opposite wall from the tellers. She told us to sit there, we would be more comfortable. We sat there with the babies, still all bundled up, trying to not stand out too much. We waited there for about 15 min. Inna came back in and asked how we were doing. We told her the babies were getting warm. Sho told us we could go stand outside with them, so we did. We stood outside, again trying to be nonchalant. Agian we failed. Inna finally waved us in. We stood at the front a few more minutes. Then followed a lady back into the room with all the teller windows. Inna told us we could take their snowsuits off if we thought it was warm enough. After 15min or so we walked into a back room again full of teller windows. We were told to again sit down on the couches and wait. After some paperwork was fumble through by the women, Elle and I went into yet another room. This room was full of women just sitting around. I was a little taken back by how many people were in the room looking at me. I looked up and said Strasviture(Hello). Then we go up to a white screen. Again told to sit down. They were all talking to each other in Russian. I sat there trying to figure out what their hand gestures meant. Finally I stood up and held Elle out to my side. They snapped the picture and told me to go back out and sit down. They went through the papers again I signed a few things and we sat back down for Gia and Griffin to have their turn. We felt like we had just been to the DMV. After an hour and a half and an hour past feeding we made it back to the cottage. Elloree was mad because she thought we were going shopping.
