We got to Kokshetau finally last night about 8pm. We're staying in an apartment temporarily until one of the families leaves the cottage, next Monday. Our travel partners, Ben and Angela, are staying in a second cottage with another family.
We were picked up this morning by our driver and taken to the Ministry of Education, where we met Ben and Angela and our interpreter, Ina. We met with the gentleman there to get permission to visit the children. After that they took us to the hospital for a short visit with baby Zhanel. She was asleep when we got there and it took a minute for her to wake up, but once she did, she seemed very alert. Being premature, she is much smaller than Rhys was when we first met him. We handled her gently, and she really seemed to like the attention. She was very smiley. We only got a thirty minute visit, but did get in a bottle feeding, which she sucked right down.
Vists will be from 10am until noon from now on. We don't have internet in our apartment, but we're at Angela and Ben's, they have wireless.

OMG! She's beautiful!!! I can't wait to see more pics of you holding her. She looks so itty bitty. Can't imagine how tiny she'll be in Marc's arms. :-) Just thrilled beyond belief for you!!!
