After a day in bed, LeAnne was feeling much better today. We went for our visit and both Elloree and Griffin were awake and waiting for us. It's a real treat seeing her every day and watching her open to us. She's getting better with her hands. She holds on to fingers tighter and is getting good at picking up some of the toys, especially Bert the Bee teething ring. The schedule is pretty much the same, play for awhile, suck down a bottle, and then sleep.
Tomorrow is Halloween and LeAnne has an outfit or two for her, so we should have some fashion shots tomorrow.
Today after our visit we went with Ben and Gia to the Green Market, where they sell fresh vegetables, meats, etc.. We found a good little pumpkin after some searching and plan to carve it tomorrow. One of the interpreters here, Makhabbat, is coming over tomorrow evening with her daughter and we are going to have a little Halloween party. I think LeAnne and our roomate Carrie are going to her daughters dance class as well to talk to the kids about Halloween in the States. We'll have updates tomorrow.

You can see in the pictures that Elle is practicing standing with mom's help. With concern here of the cold the pigs don't see alot of sunlight, but we let them out briefly for a photo op. She can't get enough of her big brothers picture, and then it off to sleep to get ready for tomorrow's visit.
LeAnne and Carrie went around today and took pictures around Kokshetau. I'll post a few photos of the town on another blog. Mom also took some pictures of various trucks, buses etc. for Rhys, but I think there better featured on his blog, so check them out there.

Haven't heard the voicemail myself, but apparently there's been somebody sleeping in my Kaz bed!!! I was in there, so I'm having a hard time picturing the 2 of you given the expanse of mattress you're used to sharing ;-). We love you guys -- and can't wait to meet that little girl! How is everyone there? Have you seen Natalia yet?
Lovin' your updates - keep them coming!

Happy to hear that you are feeling better.
Elle, I just love to see you snuggled into Daddy's arms.
What a sweet peanut you are!

"This little piggy went to market"...love those pigs! Not to judge, but...are those rubber band rings around those teeny ankles?
Rhys says thanks for the pictures of trucks and cranes you put on his site...he loves them and is excited that the blue truck shown may be like the one Baby Elle bought for him.
Love,
Nana,Kickey & Rhys
