We have two water babies on our hands. Elle's first trip to the beach was great. She loves splashing in the surf and eating sand as much as her big brother did when he was smaller.

- We (Marc and LeAnne) met on a blind date, August 2000, in Charlotte and were engaged two years later. We moved to Charleston, SC, where we married and lived for 3 years. The two of us had talked about adoption early in our relationship and found it was something we were both interested in. After moving back to Charlotte in October 2005, we looked into the process. We decided to adopt internationally from Kazakhstan It's been a long and sometimes frustrating experience, but well worth it to find our son Rhys.
