- We (Marc and LeAnne) met on a blind date, August 2000, in Charlotte and were engaged two years later. We moved to Charleston, SC, where we married and lived for 3 years. The two of us had talked about adoption early in our relationship and found it was something we were both interested in. After moving back to Charlotte in October 2005, we looked into the process. We decided to adopt internationally from Kazakhstan It's been a long and sometimes frustrating experience, but well worth it to find our son Rhys.

Wonderful. What a pretty girl. I love finally seeing her and reading about your adventure.
Look at your little miss sweet diva!!! I love to see her and Rhys together. I hope you guys are adjusting well and getting some rest now and then.
We are seriously thinking of making a little road trip soon to visit friends in NC, and if so we'd love to swing by for a visit.
